Bresha Meadows’ attorney has announced that he will call for the immediate release of Bresha citing the “Cruel & Unusual Impact of Detention.” This hearing is scheduled for May 3rd at 8:30am at Trumbull County Family Court.
Court Watch & Postcard Action:
If prosecutors do not drop their charges (which we continue to demand), Bresha’s pretrial hearing is scheduled for May 8th and her trial is scheduled to begin on May 22nd. Local organizers are calling for courtwatch participants at Trumbull County Family Court. We also call on supporters to send postcards to Ohio Prosecutor Dennis Watkins urging him to DROP THE CHARGES against Bresha Meadows.
We’ll continue to post updates as we learn them. In the meantime, please continue to poster your communities, organize teach-ins, circulate the petition, contribute to solidarity book drives, submit organizational endorsements, and fundraise to #FreeBresha!
